Who are we?
Green Gateway is funded by Dormant Funds, managed by the National Lottery Community Fund, and led by Foothold Cymru in partnership with Antur Cymru, PLANED, and Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr.
Together we support young people who face additional barriers — including those with disabilities or from ethnic minority backgrounds — to access training, work experience, and careers in Wales’ green economy.
Our dedicated team provides guidance and support to young people and employers across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Powys.
Our Knowledge and Experience
Our organisations have a vast collective knowledge and experience in youth development, community building, and business support, making Green Gateway a valuable resource and service for the young people and businesses we support.
Where we work
We support young people aged 16–30 and employers across Mid and West Wales.
Young People: We help young people facing additional barriers to gain training and experience in green jobs that will be fulfilling for them and valuable to employers.
Employers: We work alongside employers to help them find motivated, eager young people from diverse backgrounds to join their workforce. We also provide support to help businesses transition to more environmentally sustainable practices.
